Child Safeguarding Policy

Draft for review. This policy is a starting template prepared for Fondation Alliancy Calice. It must be reviewed and approved by the board and qualified legal counsel before launch.

Our commitment

The safety and dignity of children come before every other consideration in our work.

Standards

• All staff, volunteers and partners working with children are screened and trained.
• No adult works alone and unobserved with a child.
• Images and stories of children are shared only with informed consent, without identifying locations, and never in a way that is degrading or exploitative.
• Digital learning tools are designed with child protection and data minimisation at their core.

Reporting a concern

Anyone with a concern about a child's safety should contact our designated safeguarding lead immediately. All reports are taken seriously and handled confidentially.
