About Us
A Haitian-rooted foundation working with communities so every child can learn.
“A child who learns today becomes the teacher, nurse, builder and leader of tomorrow.”
Our story
Fondation Alliancy Calice (FACI Inc.) was founded by people who believe that Haiti's future is being written in its classrooms. We have seen what becomes possible when a child can stay in school — and how quickly that possibility disappears when a family cannot cover fees, books or the journey to class.
Our name reflects what we are: an alliance. We bring together Haitian educators, families, community leaders, the Haitian diaspora and international supporters around one shared goal — quality education for every child.
How we work
- Community-led. Programmes are designed with the schools and families they serve.
- Accountable. We report openly on how funds are used and publish only verified results.
- Child-safe. Every staff member, volunteer and partner follows our child safeguarding policy.
- Built to last. We invest in local capacity so that progress continues long after a project ends.
